The presidential debate was a wonderful event. It shows how far we have come as a country. Who knew presidential candidates would be that hard put to task. I am proud to be Kenyan.
Now, I have a bone to pick with the candidates about health. Well with the rest of us Kenyans and human beings as well.
It has already been proven that about 80% of diseases originate from mental conditions. Dida said something we all laughed at but was true. You should eat when you feel hungry and make sure you leave some space for air and water. Funny?
You should also be aware of the quality of food you eat. About 40% of nutrients are used up in the brain. Our brain also needs lots of water and lots of oxygen. So you must make sure you supply these in good quantities.
How? Well, exercise is a good way to give your brain extra nutrients, water and oxygen. When you exercise your heart pumps more blood to the brain, you lungs breathe in more air and you brain gets more nourishment.
When you brain has enough, you mental conditions also improve. And that way you could avoid most of these diseases.
So yes, how about a dose of preventative medicine instead of building more hospitals? Si ni afadhali kuziba ufa badala ya kujega ukuta?
